Nothing here is ever what it seems
Truth is stranger than a dream
When you see the unseen
Like a cocoon opening
Soon it's coming to an end
Truth is stranger than fiction
What has always been in
Will be opened
And older things will pass away
Behold the weight of glory
Unveiling
Oh Oh Oh Oh Butterfly
Unfold the mystery
To rise up from the earth into the sky
On resurrected wings
Chrysaline
All things are made new
I’m a worm not a man
Take me to the garden
Bury me inside my skin
Lord make me whole again
Wake me up in Spring
Leave behind worthless things
I’m rising with new wings
To you Lord
I am free
And older things pass away
Behold the weight of glory
Is unveiling
Oh Oh Oh Oh Butterfly
Unfold the mystery
To rise up from the earth into the sky
On resurrected wings
Chrysaline
All things are made new
Oh Oh Oh Oh Butterfly
Unfold the mystery
Rise up from the earth into the sky
On resurrected wings
Chrysaline
All things are made new
Halleluiah
For You
Oh Butterfly
Unfold the mystery
Rise up from the earth into the sky
On resurrected wings
Chrysaline
All things are made new
John's music doesn't diminish with each album as with many artists... The richness and depths of the lyricism expand each time and I love that he's always exploring new musical territory. joshlyon

it's such a beautiful album of grieving and loss and acceptance. it speaks to a particular kind of grief -- not a grieving of one who is lost, but the grieving for one who is still present and still causing pain. i love the last song most because while it could end in pain, or end with the narrators decision to permanently push this person out of their life and that would be justified, it doesn't. instead, it offers something. what is offered? acceptance. hope. and a chance for redemption janmisha
